- I can't do the test my class is full. (First year student)
- I have exam tomorrow, I can't submit the assignment today. (Given 2 weeks before the due date and it's a 1 page assignment)
- I don't understand your instructions. (I announced three times in class for 2 consecutive weeks, including online announcement)
- I went to your office but you were not there. (I WAS AT THE OFFICE THE WHOLE TIME)
- I went around the block A FEW TIMES but could not see the notice. (Notice was in BIG fonts)
- I forgot that we have a test. (FORGOT?!)
- I didn't know that we have a test. (????)

be patient my ex teacher . haha . those are ragam pelajar but not including pelajar from asasi unimas 1st batch .. isn't it ? :P

so funny yet they are so true students are always creative with excuses but the forgot that teachers are smart too
same here. i have to deal with the same problem (and, it's kind of semesterly problem i'd say) over and over again though i already mention in the class earlier that i don't accept any reasons but still, they throw me lame excuses and some of them are just not making any sense. sighs. I THINK GIVING REASONS IS NOW A TREND AMONG THE STUDENTS.
True story...a friend of mine was in this class....and the lecturer asked him to go in front to solve a problem....he went in front and cuba la tek..dengan kompiden... but in the end he did nothing..he turned to the lecturer and said " Actually I'm not enrolled in this class. I'm just here to see what you guys study."...
Thanks miss for this entry.. I am a student as well and I just realize that all of this while I've been using those excuses which is a very hyperbolic lame and I just realize as well that in the end all of that is just an excuses because if others can do it on time and of course being a real student why can't I? Anyway, need to change that attitude coz I'm going to be a future educator (amen) and I must learn not to do something that I don't want my student to do.. >___<

Ha ha... excuse no. 3, my former students (form 6ers) would never dare to use that excuse as I told them early on in class,
"If you have any questions, ASK NOW! Don't wait until the end and then tell me that you didn't understand. You know that I will LITERALLY BITE YOUR HEAD OFF!"
... Ha ha ha... works like magic every time.
